We love our four-legged regulars! Here’s how dogs work at our Trinity taproom, and why.
Pet dogs are welcome on our front patio. Only service animals are allowed inside. This rule isn’t just our preference. Florida law and Pasco County’s health code allow pet dogs at establishments like ours only in a permitted, designated outdoor area. The rule applies every day, including during our dog-friendly events which is why we will no longer be able to take Dog Days photos inside our Trinity taproom.Â
On the patio, dogs must stay leashed, keep all four paws on the ground (no chairs or tables). Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. BarrieHaus will provide water bowls and a portable fan upon request to keep your dogs comfortable. A dog that is aggressive or keeps barking may be asked to leave.Â
Service animals are welcome anywhere our guests can go, as federal and Florida law require. A service animal is a dog (or miniature horse) individually trained to do specific work or tasks for a person with a disability. Emotional support, therapy, and comfort animals are not service animals under these laws. Our team may ask two questions: whether the dog is required because of a disability, and what task it has been trained to perform. We won’t ask about your disability or for paperwork. Service animals must be leashed and under control, and any animal that isn’t may be asked to leave. Florida law makes it a misdemeanor to misrepresent a pet as a service animal.
Thank you for helping us keep BarrieHaus welcoming for everyone, on two legs and four!
