What the brewers say

“Packed full of rich malt flavor and ultra smooth toasty goodness.”

What our panel thought

“Dark fruit, grape notes, and Grape-Nuts cereal with that chewy malty notation of dark crusty bread. Caramel and light toast malt sweetness is nicely complemented by floral notes and hints of sweet peppery spice. The rich bread character of the malt is the star. Clean with a nice crisp-but-warming finish that combines with a gentle spicy bitterness.”

What our editors thought

“Grape candy in the nose, then warm caramel and grape in the sip. Polished and cohesive.”
