Prenups before marriage are always a good idea. Jim and Brittney had one too – Prenup Pale Ale. The terms of this ‘draughted’ agreement included but were not limited to: a toasty biscuit malt backbone promulgating a bright tangerine citrus showcase set forth by the copious use of Amarillo and Citra hops. in our legal opinion, you gotta have one!
The description is Chill out with our traditional Bavarian Hefeweizen – loaded with wheat for a luscious silky mouthfeel and packed with yeast-derived notes of banana cream, clove, and vanilla. Naturally carbonated, of course, for that fluffiness. Here’s your f***in’ Hefe!

G-G-G-Grandpappy Kling would be proud of this one. A blend of Vienna, Munich, and specialty malts create a toasty, refined malt complexity with noble Saaz hops adding a soft bitterness to a beer that is a tip of the cap to our brewing heritage.
The floral hop character of Hallertau Mittelfruh is supported by a pilsner malt backbone. Brewed and tweaked countles times to achieve a perfectly balanced beer that is approachable yet exquisite. Gold in color. Full bodied & super smooth.
Made with local Florida oranges, the low bitterness lets the citrus shine with hints of honey comb – a perfect companion to the Florida sunshine.
Big Plucker was the meanest family rooster we had. Come to think of it, we should have dumped his butt on the streets of Ybor (we didn’t). Big Pluckin’ Pils is a pilsner malt showcase with a pillowy, white head. The firm dosage of noble hops create a thirst-quenching beer with a crisp finish that’ll make you crow.
I’ll have the Dark! Our shadowy Bavarian-style lager is a unique blend of continental Munich and specialty malts, which is reminiscent of fresh-baked bread, molten toffee, and a whisper of chocolate. Rich malt complexity, yet decidedly drinkable.
Czech-style Pilsner; decocted to perfection and Gold Medal winner of the 2024 World Beer Cup in the Bohemian Pilsener category. Thick portions of Moravian malt and plentiful Saaz hops impart the authentic Bohemian flavor. “Bublina” means Bubbles in Czech. This beer is best experienced in Haus from our Czech side pull faucets in Tübinger tankards.
Here’s your F***in’ Hefeweizen is our classic representation of an unfiltered Bavarian wheat beer meant to be enjoyed with some of the yeast in suspension. In Haus, we store the Hefe kegs upside down to allow gravity to sink the heavy yeast particles to the top of the keg. When it’s time to tap the keg, the beertender has to flip the keg over which rouses the yeast in the keg and creates a haze in your glass. The yeast haze contributes to the fluffy banana cream, sweet vanilla, and savory clove flavors that you come to expect in our Hefeweizen. None of those ingredients are added to the beer – ALL of those flavors come directly from the yeast!
Citra, Mosaic & Cashmere hops. Haus lager yeast. Just a few steps from the BarrieHaus was home to the Ybor City Ice Works, built on top of the Old Government Spring. This natural resource along with the Port of Tampa and the railroad, made it the ideal location to build the first brewery in Florida, the Florida Brewery. We pay homage to our neighbors with this Cold IPA, made with our Haus lager yeast and fermented at the traditional ale temps. The result is an incredible hoppy, crispy, and crushable beer that’s more refreshing than the spring itself!
Notes of pear, melon, and florals cascade over your palate as you imbibe this effervescently clean, dry-hopped Italian-styled pilsner. Its light, crisp taste will refresh you and have you wishing you were zipping around on a Vespa. For the nerds: Tettnanger Tettnanger (so nice, it’s named twice!), Saphir, and Hallertauer Hersbrucker are the names of the hops used. They were all grown and harvested in Germany and shipped to BarrieHaus. The long names are generally names of the regions that these hops are grown I.e. Tenttnanger from Tettnang, Hersbrucker from the Hersbruck Mountains of Franconia, etc.
The blend of traditional German Saphir hops and contemporary Amarillo hops reveal a hopped-up pilsner that will have you shouting its praises from the mountaintops or the comfort of your backyard while grilling sausages. Or mowing the lawn during sunset. Or meticulously rending to your herb garden. Yeah, Mayor Bear likes to do those things too.
Oktoberfest Märzen | 5.8% ABV. This copper-hued beer boasts a rich, toasty, and bready malt flavor with notes of sweet caramel. An elegant, malty German amber lager that was first served at Oktoberfest in 1872. The single decoction process ramps up the mouthfeel and perceived richness.
Also known as Festbier! This amped-up 6.2% ABV golden German lager features hops sourced from Seitzfarm, 4th generation hop farm in Nietenhausen, Germany. The Hallertauer Mittelfrüher hos in this beer were harvested in the heart of Bavaria to deliver traditional flavors to lager lovers of Florida. Festbier has taken over the tents in Munich’s Oktoberfest since 1990 and our versions may do the same to your taste buds. Our Festbier is crushable classically brewed golden lager with flavor of rising bread and honeysuckle and a delicate hop finish. Crafted to be consumed by the liter, prost!
We used a secret, not so secret ingredient in this Colonel Maize to impart a superior, richer flavor. This ingredient is non-GMO Cumberland Corn Malt™ sourced from grain grown on local, family-owned farms in North Carolina where the maltster Riverbend Malt House is located.
Mexican Lager with Lime ABV 4.5% Our Mexican Lager is named Colonel Maize as a play-off of the cornflakes added to the malt bill. The maize and extra pale Pilsner malt combo make this beer extra dry and drinkable.
Our pre-prohibition pilsner is floor-malted barley and domestic corn is used in this recipe to recreate a style of lager predominately brewed before Prohibition. Heavy dose of Saaz hops. Haus yeast.
Our Maibock is a beautifully balanced strong blonde lager with floral lemongrass notes combined with a bready sourdough characteristic from the caramelization in the malt. Satisfyingly dry and crisp, yet hefty on the palette, and most importantly completely crushable.
We honor our 3x great-grandfather Philip Kling with this beer. He brought lager beer into the hearts and minds of Americans predominantly drinking English-style ales in the 19th century. This crushable American lager has a touch of malt sweetness, bald eagles, and freedom. Dare we call it the Kling of Beers?
This Czech Dark Lager is inspired by our favorite feline, Tivoli, or Tivvy, for short. This beer pours black and is a purr-fect blend of malt complexity boasting flavors of baker’s chocolate, caramelized dates, and French roasted coffee.
Our traditional German Doppelbock is one of our favorite beers to drink. The pronounced aromas and flavors of rich, toasted malt alongside subtle notes of caramel, molasses, toffee, and baked bread.
Our silky and boozy Strong Lager rested ever so gracefully in a Tawny Port Wine barrel giving port wine characteristics and notes of berries and cinnamon to this full-bodied lager beer.
