As social distancing is becoming top priority around the country, the restaurant and brewing industry are beginning to feel the effects. As a way to still serve their customers, concepts are taking on additional hygiene practices (no reusable cups, disposable eat and drinkware, wipes at tables, etc.)
BarrieHaus Beer Co. reached out to Creative Loafing Tampa Bay to spread the word that its fairly new brewery is temporarily closing its taproom on Monday, March 16, and reopening on Tuesday, March 17, to fill mobile orders.
In the email, Brittney Barrie, President, and Director of Hoperations, said that “due to the current state of the Covid-19 virus, we are closing our taproom and temporarily moving to a mobile ordering system only. Customers can use the ordering system found on our website to order beers ahead of time and then drive up to pick up their beer.”
This is an easy way to help support our local businesses during the pandemic.
When you swing by to pick up your booze, make sure to bring along some pre-packaged food items to drop off, as BarrieHaus Beer Co. is collecting donations Hillsborough County schools that have been affected.
BarrieHaus Beer Co. is located at 1403 E. 5th Ave. in Ybor City.
